Binary Trading
For anyone who is interested in getting involved in binary trading, it's important to understand the basics. Binary trading, fortunately, is one of the easier types of trading to understanding. One type of binary trading option is called a range option. This type of binary option works as follows. You'll get a specific payout if the stock or other item stays within a specific price range at the time that you set up as the expiration.
Examples with Range Options
What this means is the following with this type of binary option. I've invested in a range option where I've said that the price of a bushel of apples will be between $6 and $8 a barrel on a certain date two weeks from now. If I'm right, and the apple price is in that range, then I've earned a certain profit. If I'm wrong, then I've lost that money. One of the benefits to this type of binary option is that the investor or broker knows most of the risks in advance. They know what the maximum payout will be if they are correct in their prediction; they know how much they risk losing; and they know when the cut-off will be based on the prediction date that's been set.
More Binary Option Trading
Now, one unique thing with a range option is that you can benefit if the stock goes up in price, but you can also benefit if it goes down. You set a range for the stock price and you make money if you're within that range - even if what you're predicting is that there will be a downturn. In general, if you are looking at a situation with a binary option using a range, you'll get more return if you set a short time to expiration and if you are as far away from the boundaries that were set as you can be.
In and Out Range Bets
There are two main ways to do binary trading with a range. You can bet that the stock will be "in" or "out." For example, let's say that they set a prediction that apples will be worth $6-8 a bushel on a certain date. You can predict that the amount will be inside the range, and you'll get a payout if you are correct; or you can predict that the amount will be outside the range, and you'll get a payout if the price of apples does not fall within the set range.
Options with Range Options
The many options that are offered with range options make them exciting, and many brokers and investors enjoy doing binary trading with a range. It allows the investor to either predict that an item will fall within a certain range by a given date, or to predict that it will fall outside the range. This offers some interesting options with binary trading.
